Job summary

AtlantiCare seeks an AVP, Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to lead enterprise APP practice across ambulatory, acute, and post-acute settings. Reports to the Chief Nursing Officer and collaborates with CPE for governance, credentialing, and quality initiatives.

The role includes establishing standardized APP practice, onboarding, education, and care-delivery models while maintaining a 60/40 split between administrative leadership and clinical activity.

Qualifications

• Current New Jersey licensure (or eligibility) as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant required.
• Current national board certification as appropriate to discipline.
• AHA BLS certification required; ACLS preferred based on practice.
• Leadership certification (NEA-BC, NE-BC) or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serves as enterprise leader for APP governance, professional practice, workforce strategy, and development.
• Lead standardized APP practice, onboarding, education, and care-model execution.
• Collaborate with CPE, service line leaders, and Medical Staff to align deployment, productivity, and care delivery.
• Chairs APP Leadership Council and advances strategic initiatives, quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Partner with CNO and CPE on scope of practice, credentialing, privileging, and patient safety.
