Job summary

Ancora Education is seeking a Director of Education to lead the campus Academic Department, ensuring compliance with accreditation, state and federal policies and Ancora’s standards. You will supervise the Academic team, including the Registrar, Program Directors, faculty and other staff, while partnering with the Campus Leadership Team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree required.
• 3 years of experience in educational administration.
• 2 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.
• 3 years of experience in academic instruction in a post-secondary environment.
• Ability to qualify as an instructor.
• Master’s Degree.
• 5 years of experience in educational administration.
• 3 years of experience in a management or supervisory role.

Responsibilities

• Provides Services to Students.
• Coordinates and participates in facilitating the New Student Orientation Program each term.
• Establishes rapport with students and provides counseling as needed.
• Oversees Program Directors who provide academic advisement.
• Leads the Retention Program and directs student retention activities.
• Serves as chair of the Academic Review Committee and handles hearings.
• Oversees Library Resources and Distance Learning coordination.
• Maintains an accurate student population list in CampusNexus.
• Provides Oversight and Leadership to Program Directors and faculty.
