Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s preferred.
• Minimum 3 years in educational administration.
• 2 years in a management/supervisory role.
• 3 years of post-secondary academic instruction.
• Ability to qualify as an instructor.
• Experience with online instructional delivery.
• Experience as an academic program director.
• Experience managing a department (P/L and staff).
• Knowledge of federal/state education regulations.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Academic Department operations and compliance with policies.
• Supervise Academic staff including Registrar and program directors.
• Develop and maintain master class schedule and student-teacher ratios.
• Coordinate orientation, counseling, tutoring, and student retention initiatives.
• Lead Academic Review Committee and address student disciplinary issues.
• Ensure library resources and distance learning delivery.
• Collaborate with program directors on curriculum development and accreditation.
