The position requires maintaining quality, following holding times, and performing sanitation practices. Primary focus is on safe operations, batter preparation, and accurate food production during shifts.

Responsibilities

• Sets up batter table, collects smallwares, and prepares batter mix.
• Ensures call sheets are complete, posted and used.
• Checks equipment and reports malfunctions to Manager in Charge.
• Colors balances fryers and maintains shortening levels.
• Filters and cleans fryers following safety guidelines and equipment provided.
• Pans sufficient chicken for operational needs.
• Prepares and cooks all food as directed by Manager in Charge.
• Ensures food meets specifications, procedures and quality standards per the SOM including holding times.
• Maintains clean workstation using clean-as-you-go practices and sanitation guidelines.
• Verifies stock and supplies at batter area.
• Maintains cooler organization and cleanliness.
• Performs other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge.
