• Sets up the batter table, collects smallwares, and prepares batter mix.
• Checks equipment and reports malfunctions to the Manager in Charge.
• Color balances fryers and maintains shortening levels.
• Filters and cleans fryers following safety guidelines and sanitation.
• Prepares and cooks food as directed by the Manager in Charge.
• Ensures all food meets SOM specifications and holding times.
• Maintains a clean work area using clean-as-you-go practices and sanitation guidelines.
• Verifies supplies are stocked at the batter area.
• Keeps cooler organized and clean.
• Completes other tasks as assigned by Manager in Charge of Shift.
