Job summary

Cranswick Plc is seeking a Poultry Catcher to join a field-based team, moving between poultry farms and loading live birds into the modular catching system. The role requires teamwork and adherence to welfare standards while maintaining hygiene on site.

Hours vary across six days, with a weekly basic pay of £720.22 rising to £745.43 after probation, plus pension contributions and access to employee perks as part of the compensation package.

• Physically fit for manual handling.

Job description

Crown Farms forms part of the hugely successful Cranswick Plc.

As a Poultry Catcher you'll work as part of a team travelling to a number of poultry farms on a daily basis and your main job will be catching live birds and loading them safely into the modular catching system.

You will be working at various locations within East Anglia and possible other locations further afield.

What you will need:

• It is desirable that you have previous catching experience
• You will have good knowledge/understanding of animal welfare
• To be flexible with working hours and able to work as a team
• To be physically fit

Pay, Benefits and hours / shifts:

• Hours are varied across six days, Monday to Saturday.
• £720.22 basic weekly salary + various bonus system increasing to £745.43 after probation
