Foster Farms in California is hiring for a hands-on role involving catching and loading chickens. The position pays $23.25 per hour and offers overtime incentives for evening and overnight shifts.

Candidates must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend and squat, and pass a drug screening. This is a physically demanding role with overtime, weekends, and holidays as needed. You will operate catching and loading equipment and contribute to safe handling of birds, with a focus on efficiency and quality.

Qualifications

• Willing to work overtime, weekends, holidays and shifts with variable starting and ending times when needed.

Essential Functions

Pay Rate $23.25 per hour

(Additional $1.00 per hour for hours worked between 7:00pm and 11:59pm. Additional $2.00 per hour for hours worked between 12:00am-4:59am)

• To catch and load chickens in a timely, efficient and safe manner.
• Catch and load chickens using proper lifting and loading techniques. Operate catching and loading equipment using proper techniques and procedures to insure safe handling of birds. Other duties as assigned.
