Job summary

Crown Farms, part of Cranswick Plc, requires a Poultry Catcher to travel to multiple poultry farms daily and safely catch live birds for loading into the modular catching system.

You will work at various locations across East Anglia and possibly further afield, prioritising welfare, maintaining hygiene, and collaborating with the team to meet high standards.

Qualifications

• Desirable catching experience.
• Good knowledge of animal welfare.
• Flexible with working hours and able to work as a team.
• Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Job description

Crown Farms forms part of the hugely successful Cranswick Plc.

As a Poultry Catcher you'll work as part of a team travelling to a number of poultry farms on a daily basis and your main job will be catching live birds and loading them safely into the modular catching system.

You will be working at various locations within East Anglia and possible other locations further afield.

What you will need:

• It is desirable that you have previous catching experience
• You will have good knowledge/understanding of animal welfare
• To be flexible with working hours and able to work as a team
• To be physically fit
• Driving licence

Pay, Benefits and hours / shifts:

• Hours are varied across six days, Monday to Saturday.
• £720.22 basic weekly salary + various bonus system increasing to £745.43 after probation
