Cranswick Plc's Crown Farms division is recruiting for a hands-on worker to support egg incubation operations. You will follow supervisor instructions, maintain high welfare and hygiene standards, and assist with loading eggs and general site tasks.

The role requires numeracy and literacy for record keeping, the ability to work as part of a team, and the capacity for manual handling. A valid HGV licence and tachograph card are needed.

Qualificações

• Numerate and literate for record keeping.
• Able to work as part of a team.
• Able to perform manual handling.
• Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is desirable but training provided.
• Valid HGV licence.
• Valid Digital Tachograph Card.

Responsabilidades

• Follow instructions from the Incubatory Manager & supervisor and maintain high standards of work.
• General cleaning and disinfection of equipment and areas.
• Loading setters with eggs.
• Manual handling when transferring eggs.
• Be confident that standards of welfare are met at all times in the handling of eggs.
• Relief Driver duties transporting eggs between farm sites and Incubatory; washing and disinfecting of vehicles.
• Strict adherence to biosecurity rules.

What you will need:
