Job summary

BD is seeking an Associate Territory Manager to support the Chicagoland sales team, drive revenue growth and expand market share for BD products within a defined territory. You will build strong customer relationships, execute sales strategies, and contribute to the overall success of the sales organization.

You will assist in developing territory plans, conduct product demonstrations to healthcare professionals, and maintain CRM records while traveling within the Chicagoland region as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 1–3 years of sales experience, preferably in medical device/healthcare.
• Proven ability to build and maintain strong professional relationships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated, ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and CRM software.
• Willingness to travel frequently within Chicagoland; overnight stays as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing and executing territory sales plans to meet/exceed targets.
• Support Senior Sales Representatives and Territory Managers in managing accounts and identifying opportunities.
• Conduct product demonstrations to healthcare professionals highlighting BD products.
• Build and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, clinicians, and staff.
• Provide timely feedback on market trends, competitor activities and customer needs.
• Collaborate with marketing, clinical and customer service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
• Attend industry trade shows, conferences and sales meetings as required.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales activities in the CRM system.
• Adhere to company policies, procedures and ethical guidelines.
