Job summary

OnTrac in Chicago, IL is seeking a HUBArea Manager to oversee all sort activities and volume within an assigned facility area, onsite at the Romeoville operation.

You will hire, train, and lead Package Handlers and Lead Handlers, monitor performance, enforce safety, and identify improvements to drive efficiency in a fast-paced environment.

The role reports to the Facility Operations Manager and requires flexibility to support 24/7 operations as needed.

Qualifications

• GED/Diploma required; BA/BS preferred.
• Minimum 2 years in logistics/3PL with leadership experience.
• Ability to summarize data and present findings clearly.
• Strong MS Office and math skills.
• Experience with hiring, training, and evaluating staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage staff and schedule a team of Package Handlers and Lead Package Handlers.
• Monitor progress, provide feedback, and address performance/attendance.
• Conduct pre-sort meetings and communicate daily goals and safety priorities.
• Record flow of volume from designated Linehauls and manage departures/arrivals.
• Perform safety training, audits, and end-of-shift reporting.
