Job summary

Join Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital as Health Unit Coordinator on the Med/Surg Chest Pain unit. You will support patient care by handling administrative flows and coordinating with caregivers to ensure smooth operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of customer service experience required.
• Experience with typing and basic computer applications.
• Preferred: college degree and MS Office experience.

Responsibilities

• Greet and orient newcomers to the unit.
• Respond to patient call lights and perform rounds.
• Assist with admissions, transfers and discharges.
• Help patients and families with wayfinding and resources.
• Assemble and maintain patient records and related documents.
• Assist with unit clerical tasks and troubleshoot equipment.
