Job summary

Univar Solutions in Dublin, OH is seeking a Technical Service Representative to deliver technical expertise that supports sales growth and product application. You will collaborate with Inside Sales and New Business Development teams to address customer needs and develop effective solutions.

In this role, you will document customer interactions in Salesforce, participate in ongoing training, and work with product management, laboratory staff, and supplier teams to resolve challenges.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a technical field.
• Technical experience in chemicals, ingredients, formulations, or related industries.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
• Ability to build relationships with customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical resource for Inside Sales and New Business Development teams.
• Research and answer technical product questions from customers and sales representatives.
• Recommend products, technical alternatives, and application solutions based on customer requirements.
• Collaborate with Product Management, laboratory personnel, supplier technical teams, and sales associates to solve customer challenges.
• Support customer projects involving formulation guidance, troubleshooting, product performance improvements, and product quality issues.
• Document customer interactions and opportunities in Salesforce.
• Maintain technical expertise through supplier and industry training.
