**Your Day-to-Day Life**
We are looking for a Chemistry Laboratory Assistant at 3600 Eagle Nest Dr, North Building, Crete, IL 60417, USA. Your responsibilities include:

1. Maintaining a clean laboratory environment by discarding waste, cleaning surfaces, and sanitizing equipment.
2. Properly storing chemicals, reagents, and supplies, and maintaining stock levels.
3. Cleaning and decontaminating equipment, glassware, and instruments.
4. Preparing and using cleaning solutions as specified.
5. Performing quality control checks such as temperature and balance verifications.
6. Assisting laboratory personnel with testing procedures.
7. Maintaining equipment and supplies, performing preventative maintenance.
8. Using Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) for data entry and management.
9. Supporting quality and continuous improvement initiatives.
10. Ensuring a safe working environment and participating in audits.
11. Managing inventory, including rotation and disposal of expired materials.
12. Completing tasks under supervision and assisting in department goals.
13. Performing opening and closing duties as assigned.
14. Cleaning glassware and other containers for reuse.
15. Performing other related duties as assigned.

**Your Profile**
Requirements include:

• High school diploma or GED; entry-level position.
• Ability to follow instructions and operate a vehicle safely if required.
• Analytical skills for testing and data processing.
• Physical dexterity for sample manipulation.
• Knowledge of laboratory safety procedures.
• Interpersonal skills for teamwork.

**Compensation Range:** $16.50/hour
