Position Overview: Student Chemistry Laboratory Assistants support Science Faculty by preparing, cleaning, and maintaining laboratory spaces. They play an important role in promoting the Science Department's mission of giving students hands-on experience in laboratory settings. The position averages 8-10 hours per week.
Working Conditions: Student Chemistry Lab Assistants will work with chemicals including acids/bases, oxidizing agents, flammable liquids, and solids. All necessary training, personal protective equipment, safety equipment, and hazardous waste disposal containers will be provided.
