Job summary

Samsung Austin Semiconductor is seeking a Specialty Chemical/Slurry Project Engineer to ensure code compliance and safety for new construction, retrofits, and sustaining operations. You will oversee design teams and GC activities to ensure chemical/slurry delivery systems are installed safely and to spec.

The role requires PE in Texas or transferable license, PMP/PgMP credentials, and extensive experience in chemical/slurry delivery within industrial settings.

Qualifications

• 4-year degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Construction Engineering or related fields.
• Experience with chemical/slurry delivery systems and industrial construction capabilities.
• Proven ability to read P&IDs, design plans, and equipment specs.

Responsibilities

• Review chemical/slurry system designs for code compliance and safety.
• Coordinate with General Contractors and design teams during construction and tool hookups.
• Provide guidance on materials of construction and system connections for chemical compatibility.
