Water Treatment Chemical Service Technician— Charleston, SC

A Water Treatment Chemical Technician will be responsible for working at a customer's data center in the Charleston, SC area. The technician will address water treatment concerns, perform water treatment lab work, and troubleshoot water treatment and control equipment at a customer’s data center.

As a Service Technician, you will receive a competitive salary, expenses, and benefits. We provide extensive technical support and ongoing training. Compensation depends on experience and performance, with a first-year salary range of $60,000 to $70,000 plus a year-end bonus.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Solve customer water problems.
2. Treat industrial cooling towers for energy efficiency and environmental compliance.
3. Perform detailed water testing and analyses.
4. Support customer KPIs and promote Garratt-Callahan solutions, including proprietary chemicals, equipment, and monitoring technology.
5. Report to the Site Manager.
6. Maintain customer satisfaction and safety.

Minimum Requirements:

• Technical degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Biology, Mechanical Engineering, Paper Science, or Water Resources.
• Interest or experience in water treatment technologies.
• Detail-oriented, safety-conscious, able to lift 50 pounds in PPE.
• Living near Charleston, SC, and familiar with the local industrial market.
