Dow Inc. is hiring an Operator for the Orange, Texas site within Sabine River Operations. You will operate process equipment, monitor conditions, and work with the shift team to ensure safe, reliable plant performance.

Responsibilities include responding to emergencies, mentoring colleagues, and driving continuous improvements while complying with all safety policies. A 12-hour shift schedule and overtime may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in an Operations role within a Chemical Manufacturing environment or 3+ years of relevant military experience.
• Must be able to work a 12-hour shift schedule and overtime, including Holidays and Weekends.
• Must have valid US Driver's License.
• US work authorization; no visa sponsorship available.

Responsabilidades

• Follow operating discipline policies to ensure safe, reliable operation of assigned plant areas.
• Operate process equipment by monitoring conditions and control systems, making decisions to meet goals.
• Serve on site Emergency Response Team and attend required trainings.
• Conduct effective shift relief and handoffs to arriving staff.
• Identify improvements using facility processes and change management tools.
• Maintain qualifications and complete training goals in a timely manner.
• Mentor and train operations personnel on process operation and troubleshooting.
• Perform scheduled and unscheduled tasks arising from events.
• Participate in Immediate Response/Severe Weather activities.
