Job summary

Lubrizol is seeking highly motivated Chemical Engineering students for its Operations Co-op Program, starting Spring and Summer 2027. This on-site internship offers exposure to Production Support and Process Development across multiple locations.

Co-ops will work 40 hours per week, collaborating with production engineers, improving safety and process performance, and preparing lab and pilot scale experiments. Eligible candidates must be pursuing a B.S.

Qualifications

• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Graduating between December 2028 and May 2030.
• Two co-op terms completed; 40 hours per week; three or more co-ops preferred with fall/spring terms.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• GPA > 3.0 preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist production units and solve manufacturing issues; focus on process optimization and equipment start-ups.
• Design lab and pilot-scale experiments; analyze data and make recommendations.
• Collaborate across departments and sites to broaden experience in the chemical manufacturing environment.
