Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking a Chemical Engineering Co-op for Spring/Summer 2027 to join our Operations Co-op Program on-site in our facilities. The program offers exposure to production support and process development within a global specialty chemicals company.

You will work on varied assignments across departments and sites, focusing on production optimization, safety improvements, new process and equipment start-ups, and data-driven problem solving.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Undergraduate student pursuing Chemical Engineering with graduation between December 2028 and May 2030.
• Completion of two co-op terms required; three or more co-op terms strongly preferred.
• GPA > 3.0 will be given priority.

Responsibilities

• Support day-to-day production units and troubleshoot manufacturing issues.
• Assist process development by designing lab and pilot-scale experiments.
• Develop analytical tests, collect data, and make recommendations based on results.
• Collaborate with multiple Lubrizol departments across sites to gain broad exposure.
