Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation invites Mechanical Engineering students to join its Operations Co-op Program for Spring or Summer 2027. This on-site temporary role offers exposure to Maintenance & Reliability Engineering and Capital Project Management across Lubrizol sites nationwide.

You will work with engineers and craftspeople to gain hands-on experience, learning equipment design, maintenance, and project execution while contributing to real plant improvements.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering with expected graduation Dec 2028–May 2030.
• Two co-op terms completed; full-time terms (40 hours/week) preferred.
• GPA > 3.0 prioritized.

Responsibilities

• Engage in Maintenance & Reliability Engineering assignments across sites.
• Assist Capital Project Management from design through construction.
• Collaborate with equipment end-users and craftsmen to improve process equipment.
• Develop broad engineering exposure across departments and Lubrizol sites.
