Job summary

The Lubrizol Corporation is seeking motivated Chemical Engineering students for our Spring & Summer 2027 Operations Co-op Program. Join our team to gain hands-on experience across Production Support and Process Development at sites nationwide.

Ideal candidates are pursuing an undergraduate Chemical Engineering degree with a graduation window of December 2028 to May 2030, have completed at least two co-ops, and can work 40 hours per week. GPA above 3.0 is preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without requiring sponsorship.
• Pursuing an undergraduate degree in Chemical Engineering with graduation between December 2028 and May 2030.
• Two co-op terms completed; 40 hours per week. Three or more co-op terms preferred with some fall or spring terms.
• Students are responsible for reliable transportation to and from their work location; some sites require transportation between locations.

Responsibilities

• Production Support: assist day-to-day operation of production units; work on process optimization, safety improvements, new start-ups, system troubleshooting, and capital project design.
• Process Development: design lab and pilot-scale experiments; implement equipment changes; develop and evaluate analytical tests; collect and analyze data and make recommendations.
