Job summary

Lubrizol Corporation is seeking highly motivated Mechanical Engineering students for our Spring/Summer 2027 Operations Co-op Program. This on-site opportunity offers hands-on rotations across Maintenance & Reliability Engineering and Capital Project Management to develop core industrial skills.

You will work with diverse teams at multiple sites, gain exposure to process equipment, and have the chance for full-time opportunities after graduation.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future.
• Interested in working in a chemical manufacturing environment.
• Pursuing an undergraduate Mechanical Engineering degree with graduation between December 2028 and May 2030.
• Two co-op terms required; three+ preferred. Terms should be full time (40 hours/week).
• GPA > 3.0 will be given priority.

Responsibilities

• Work across Maintenance & Reliability Engineering and Capital Project Management rotations.
• Learn day-to-day mechanical support for plant processes and equipment maintenance.
• Lead or support capital projects from design through construction with cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with instrumentation and engineers to translate needs into concrete projects.
