Qualifications

• Must be majoring in Chemical or Paper Engineering or related field and have completed freshman year or will have completed freshman year at time of co‑op.
• Minimum GPA 3.0/4.0 and must be a permanent U.S. resident with a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Support process optimization and engineering projects to improve mill efficiency, reliability, quality, safety, and cost.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret process and production data for troubleshooting and decision-making.
• Conduct routine pulp, paper, and chemical testing for process evaluations and quality control.
• Monitor sensing equipment and control systems to verify operation.
• Assist with startup activities, maintenance inspections, and safety documentation.
