Job Details

Position: Chemical Compounder/Material Handler (1st Shift)

Location: Somerset, NJ

Pay Rate: $25-$27 per hour (Depending on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 1st Shift

Job Description

Leading flavor manufacturer located in Somerset, NJ is seeking a Compounder to join the team on the 1st shift. Responsibilities include:

1. Accurately measuring and retrieving ingredients using scales, mixing various ingredients/chemicals
2. Production manufacturing
3. Identifying ingredients that require dilution, diluting appropriately, and recording raw material usage
4. Maintaining quality standards by verifying weight and contents of raw materials
5. Adding raw materials and following formula requirements to complete production orders using equipment such as mixers, spray dryers, and blending tanks
6. Following standard batch instructions to accurately weigh dyes, chemicals, and other substances into equipment
7. Checking for consistency in batches and measuring the viscosity of mixtures

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Compounding manufacturing experience
