Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a Chef Manager in East Greenwich, RI. This role leads culinary operations, cost control, and client relations to deliver exceptional dining experiences.

You will oversee food production, catering operations, budgeting, and staff development, while maintaining quality and safety standards. A strong background in corporate dining and ServSafe is required, with 3-5 years of management experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 3-5 years’ experience in food service management, corporate dining/education.
• Culinary School certificate or degree preferred.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience.
• ServSafe Certification required.
• Allergen Awareness Certification required.

Responsibilities

• Menu writing and cost control using recipes and costing measures.
• Quality of all food products and standards.
• All aspects of food production, execution and presentation.
• Oversight of catering operations.
• Maintain vendor relationships.
• Purchasing of food and supplies ensuring quality control.
• Receiving food and supplies; lift up to 40 pounds.
• Determine production schedules and staffing including payroll processing.
• Ensure safety, sanitation, uniforms and productivity standards.
• Manage client relationships and account retention.
• Manage department controllable expenses (P&L).
• Analyze recipes to price items based on food, labor and overhead costs.
• Inventory management.
• Submit financial reporting to the corporate office.
• Recruitment, hiring, termination, and performance reviews.
• Instruct and supervise cooks.
• Provide excellent customer service.
