Job summary

NEXDINE Hospitality is seeking a Chef Manager in East Greenwich, RI to lead culinary operations and drive cost-conscious menu development. You will oversee quality, presentation, and service while managing vendor relations and daily kitchen activities.

The role requires strong menu costing, staff development, and client relationship skills to exceed expectations in a corporate dining environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 3–5 years of experience in food service management in corporate dining/education.
• Preferred: culinary school certificate or degree.
• Must have ServSafe Certification.
• Allergen Awareness Certification.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

• Develop and cost menus; ensure cycle costs and recipes meet standards.
• Oversee food production, quality, presentation and safety.
• Manage catering operations and vendor relationships.
• Handle purchasing, receiving, and inventory controls.
• Plan production schedules and payroll considerations.
• Manage client relations and ensure satisfaction and retention.
• Lead and develop kitchen staff; provide coaching and training.
