Job summary

DIG INN Restaurant Teams is seeking a Chef-in-Training to join our scratch-based kitchens designed for learning and leadership development. You will advance in a fast-paced culinary environment, gaining hands-on experience across stations and joining a mission to rebuild the food system.

You will work toward mastering recipes, seeing seasonality in action, and contributing to guest experiences while upholding food safety standards and our anti-discrimination policies.

Qualifications

• Must have a passion for real, good food and a desire to learn culinary practices and skills.
• Strong work ethic and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Ability to perform physical requirements (lift up to 25–50 lbs).

Responsibilities

• Prep, mix, and cook vegetables, proteins, grains using recipes and taste as validation.
• Gain exposure to garde manger, grill, roast, market line, guest concierge and delivery/packout.
• Explain menu offerings, seasonality, and ingredients to guests to create scratch-made meals.
