Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead the execution of complex substation projects within the Grid Systems Integration business. You will coordinate multiple sub-projects and workstreams, ensuring alignment across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, commissioning, and customer-facing activities.

You will drive project execution from planning through delivery, summarizing progress, risks, and priorities for leadership.

Qualifications

• Senior project leadership experience in complex engineering projects.
• Strong cross-functional coordination across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction and commissioning.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with leadership.

Responsibilities

• Review project scope and align with GEV bid and project transfer process.
• Lead project kick-off meetings, assign roles and responsibilities.
• Lead client kick-off to clarify work scope and contractual requirements.
• Manage end-to-end execution of complex substation projects to meet scope, schedule, budget and safety.
• Consolidate sub-project activities to create an integrated project view and align milestones and dependencies.
• Direct planning and execution for engineering, procurement, production, logistics, construction, and commissioning.
• Establish and maintain effective project governance with reviews, decisions, escalations and reporting.
• Monitor performance against KPIs, proactively address risks, issues and cost impacts.
