Job summary

LGH Hotels Management is seeking a skilled Chef de Partie to join our culinary team. You will take responsibility for a specific kitchen section, ensuring dishes are prepared and presented to a consistently high standard, while guiding junior staff and maintaining a clean, safe working environment.

You will collaborate with colleagues to deliver a smooth service, meet food safety regulations, and uphold the guest experience across our Chester-based hotel portfolio.

Qualifications

• Has experience working as a Chef de Partie or in a similar role.
• Displays strong food hygiene and safety practices.
• Demonstrates capability to lead and support junior kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook high-quality dishes efficiently and consistently within your section
• Take ownership of your area, ensuring standards of food quality and presentation are always met
• Support, guide and help develop junior members of the kitchen team
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic work environment at all times
• Follow all food safety, hygiene and health & safety regulations consistently
• Work collaboratively with the wider kitchen team to support smooth and well-timed service
• Remain calm, focused and professional during busy service periods
