Job summary

Stormy Cafe in Jersey City seeks an experienced Breakfast & Lunch Line Cook to join a fast-paced kitchen. The role requires 2–3 years in breakfast and lunch service, and experience preparing eggs (all styles), omelets, French toast, pancakes, breakfast sandwiches, and lunch sandwiches or wraps.

Must operate a deep fryer and stay calm under pressure. Morning shifts, weekend and holiday availability, punctuality and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years in a fast-paced breakfast and lunch kitchen.
• Experience preparing eggs, omelets, French toast, pancakes, breakfast and lunch sandwiches.

Responsibilities

• Prepare breakfast and lunch orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary workstation.
• Follow food safety and health regulations.
• Stock and prep ingredients for daily service.
• Assist with kitchen cleaning and closing duties as needed.
• Work efficiently to keep ticket times low during peak hours.
