Job summary

Harris Teeter in Fort Mill, SC is seeking an attentive Customer Service Associate to help create an outstanding shopping experience. You will assist customers, answer product questions, and support daily store operations to meet sales and safety standards.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
Ability to effectively present information to customers, clients, and associates in English.

Responsibilities

Assist customers by answering questions about products in the department and store.
Maintain knowledge of products and suggest items to customers.
Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
Inform customers of specials and promotions.
Ensure products are fresh and properly portioned.
Label, stock and inventory department merchandise.
Adhere to health, safety, and labeling regulations.
Maintain safe and clean work environment and handle equipment safely.
