Job summary

Harris Teeter in Mount Pleasant, SC is seeking a frontline associate to create an outstanding customer experience and maintain a safe, clean environment. You will assist in achieving sales goals, answer questions about products, and ensure accurate labeling and stocking of department items.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, 1–3 months of related experience, and reliable English communication. Availability to work flexible shifts is preferred; training is provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; or 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos in English.
• Ability to write simple correspondence in English.
• Ability to effectively present information to customers and associates in English.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Answer questions regarding products and department; help customers feel welcomed and appreciated.
• Gain knowledge of products and respond to questions with suggestions.
• Offer product samples to help customers discover items.
