Job summary

Leprino Foods Company seeks a Production Supervisor (Cheese) in our Tracy facility to lead a team of hourly workers in the Cheese Department. You will ensure product quality, safety, and efficient production each shift while planning staffing and coordinating with maintenance and quality teams.

Ideal candidates have a bachelor’s degree in Food Science or Dairy Tech and 5+ years in food manufacturing, including supervisory experience. Weekend and overnight shifts required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years of food manufacturing experience; 1+ year in supervision or mentoring.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of hourly cheese workers each shift to ensure quality, safety and output.
• Plan daily staffing to hit production goals while maintaining a safe environment.
• Mentor team members through coaching and training.
• Oversee operations to meet productivity, yield and quality standards.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality teams to ensure timely repairs and compliance.
