Job summary

Leprino Foods, a 300-person union manufacturing facility in Tracy, is seeking a Production Supervisor (Cheese) to lead the Cheese Department, ensure product quality, team safety, and efficient production across shifts.

You will plan daily staffing, coach and develop team members, and collaborate with maintenance and quality to keep lines moving and compliant with food safety standards.

This role offers a competitive salary range, a 10% target bonus, and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Dairy Technology, or related field.
• 5+ years in food manufacturing with at least 1 year leading a team.
• Experience with processing or packaging systems and SAP.
• Ability to work weekends, swing, and overnight shifts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support hourly team in Cheese Department for quality, safety, and production.
• Plan daily staffing to meet production goals.
• Mentor team through coaching and training.
• Oversee daily shift operations to meet standards for productivity and quality.
• Coordinate with maintenance and quality for timely repairs and operational continuity.
• Uphold food safety, GMPs, and sanitation practices.
