Job summary

Pacific Cheese in Reno, NV is hiring a Production Operator for 1st and 2nd shifts. Starting times 5:30am and 2:30pm. Wage $22.80–$26.00 per hour with a $1.50 differential on second shift.

Responsibilities include output and consumption record keeping, Navision reports, quality checks, calibrating Urschel heads, and reworking product. Applicants need at least one year as a machine operator, forklift experience, and a possible driver's license.

Qualifications

• At least ONE YEAR as a Machine Operator
• Six months forklift experience
• Driver's license may be required
• Spanish is a plus

Responsibilities

• Responsible for trim output and consumption record keeping, Navision consumption, printing Navision generated tracking reports, verify data and address any discrepancies.
• Responsible for power consumption record keeping, Navision consumption, printing Navision generated tracking reports, verify data and address any discrepancies.
• Responsible for quality assurance and across contamination inspections of the line.
• Ensure the Urschel heads are calibrated according to the product specifications.
• Ensure that associates are properly reworking product.
• Replace standard machinery parts when needed.
