Job summary

Pacific Cheese is seeking a Production Associate for the 2nd shift in Reno, NV. The role involves verifying and maintaining records for incoming and outgoing shipments and performing data entry and analysis of inventory movements.

Starting pay is $21.50 per hour with a schedule of 2:15 pm–11:00 pm, Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime. Responsibilities include overseeing shipping/receiving, preparing documents, and ensuring compliance with company guidelines.

Qualifications

• Work is performed in a warehouse/production environment.
• Ability to stand for long periods and frequently twist, turn, bend, stoop, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee shipping and receiving activities; ensure documentation is timely, accurate and complete.
• Compile records of unfilled orders and forward information to designated personnel.
• Check carriers in and out according to company guidelines.
• Comply with FedEx and incoming package company guidelines.
• Prepare bill of ladings.
• Prepare pick tickets & load documents for future shipments and run necessary reports.
• Schedule and coordinate inbound and outbound shipments.
• Verify cheese-receiving documentations for completeness and compliance with receiving procedures.
• Coordinate and resolve discrepancies related to purchase orders and receiving documentations prior to data entry and posting.
• Ensure accuracy of all data entries by reviewing edit-posting reports prior to posting in the system.
• Attend all department trainings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

We're currently hiring a Production Associate for 2 nd Shift. Shift schedule starting 2:15pm Monday-Friday (occasional overtime). Starting Pay $21.50/hr.

SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITY: Responsible for verifying and maintaining records on outgoing and incoming shipments. Requires documents to be prepared timely and accurately. Performs a variety of manual checking, summarization, reconciliation, data entry and analysis of data involved in the accurate processing of inventory movements.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee shipping and receiving activities to ensure documentation is timely, accurate and complete.


• Compile records of unfilled orders and forward information to designated personnel.


• Check carriers in & out according to the company guidelines.

REQUIREMENTS/WORK CONDITIONS: Work is performed in a warehouse/production type atmosphere where the temperature is as low as 32 degrees (typically 45-55 degrees). Noise level in production environment may require the use of hearing protection. Requires standing for long period of time frequently twisting, turning, bending, stooping, pushing, pulling and lifting material up to 50lbs.
