Job summary

Agropur, inc. in Little Chute, WI is seeking a Production Operator Lead for night shift. The role involves leading cheese production operations, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while maintaining CIP, sanitation, and documentation.

Expect to work 7pm–7am in a 2-2-3 schedule with opportunities for advancement. The position requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least five years in dairy or food manufacturing, plus HTST and cheesemaker licenses, and PCQI.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Minimum five years of related experience in food manufacturing or dairy production.
• HTST Operators License, Cheesemakers License and PCQI certification are required.
• Forklift or Powered Pallet Jack experience is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and oversee cheese production processes across multiple departments to ensure in-spec product.
• Assist and cover for production staff as needed due to breaks or absences.
• Set up and monitor molders, string machines, brine, cooker, and whey systems according to recipes.
• Maintain sanitation and CIP procedures and complete required documentation.
• Troubleshoot equipment in the cheese making process and communicate issues to supervision.
