Job summary

Lactalis American Group in Belmont, Wisconsin is seeking a Production Operator to join our cheese production team. This role involves working across multiple production functions to ensure continuous, efficient line operation.

Candidates must be able to work over 40 hours per week, including weekends, and perform physically demanding tasks in a fast-paced environment. Ideal applicants will have strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Experience in a food industry setting preferred.
• Stable and dependable work history required.
• Basic mathematical skills required.

Responsibilities

• Meet efficiency budget levels while maintaining high quality product.
• Must remove and load trays/molds and stage bascular with appropriate cookie sheets.
• Complete repetitive tasks with even spread of curd into molds and pull cheese onto draining room tables.
• Ensure whey pipes are properly hooked up and run machines (stackers, unmolder, rack washer).
• Maintain a clean, safe work area and report production issues to supervision.
• Follow safety rules and GMP standards; participate in meetings and training.
