Job summary

Agropur Cooperative is seeking a Production Operator Lead for our Little Chute, WI plant. The role covers all areas of cheese production, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency on a 7pm–7am 2-2-3 schedule with Sunday overtime.

You will back up plant staff, operate complex equipment, and maintain strict GMP, HACCP, and customer specifications. A strong background in dairy processes and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Five years of related experience in food manufacturing or dairy production.
• HTST Operators License required.
• Cheesemakers License required.
• PCQI certification required.
• Forklift or Powered Pallet Jack training is required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor cheese production processes safely and efficiently.
• Assist departments during start-up, changeovers, and shutdowns.
• Ensure compliance with customer specs and standard operating procedures.
• Maintain CIP/Sanitation documentation and cleaning schedules.
• Troubleshoot equipment and production issues and communicate with supervisors.
• Provide training and guidance to new employees as needed.
