Job summary

R+L Carriers is seeking a Check in Clerk at its Alexandria, IN Service Center. The role involves answering calls on a multi-line system, data entry, processing driver paperwork and assisting dispatchers.

The full-time position runs Monday through Friday from 4pm to 12:30am. Starting pay is $18.76 per hour with a comprehensive benefits package and vacation after 90 days.

Qualifications

• Ability to multitask and have a sense of urgency
• Type at least 30 WPM with accuracy
• Be dependable and well organized
• Must be computer literate and able to use basic Microsoft software
• Strong office, telephone, and communication skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Basic knowledge of Windows, Outlook and other Microsoft products

Responsibilities

• Answer calls on a multi-line system and redirect to appropriate contacts
• Perform data entry and processing of driver paperwork
• Assist dispatchers with daily tasks and coordinating communications

Responsibilities will include answering calls on a multi-line system, redirecting calls to appropriate contacts, data entry, processing driver paperwork, and assisting dispatchers. Other duties may apply as requested by management.
