Job summary

Applied Industrial Technologies' FCX Performance division is seeking an Outside Sales Representative to cover the Charlotte, NC territory. You will build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers, assessing their flow control, valve, instrumentation needs and providing solutions.

Responsibilities include retaining customers, delivering technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch-and-learns; maintaining sales records and pipeline, and helping set

Qualifications

• Background in industrial/engineering environments.
• Experience selling to pharmaceutical industries.
• Knowledge of flow control, instrumentation, automated valves and filtration.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred if no degree is held.

Responsibilities

• Retain customers while developing new business and build repeat sales within a local territory.
• Technical presentations, product demonstrations, workshops, and lunch & learns.
• Be strategic, organized, and technologically savvy in your approach to managing your sales territory.
• Maintain sales records, pipeline reporting, and generate relevant sales and market reports on a quarterly, annual, and as needed basis.
• Responsible for helping set sales target goals and marketing strategy.
