Job summary

Eurest USA in Charleston, SC seeks an experienced Sous Chef to lead the Culinary Department in a high-volume facility. You will assist in supervision, preparation, and cooking, develop daily menus, and help with ordering. You’ll work with the Executive Chef to create menus and launch new culinary programs.

This role offers opportunities to influence food quality, cost controls, and catering events while collaborating with a dynamic team in corporate dining.

Qualifications

• A.S. or equivalent experience.
• Catering experience a plus.
• High volume, complex foodservice operations experience.
• Institutional and batch cooking experiences helpful.
• Must be experienced with computers; MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Assists the Executive Chef with managing cost controls and expenditures.
• Assists the Executive Chef with planning and creating menus.
• Produces and executes catering events.
• Rolls out new culinary programs with marketing and culinary teams.
