Job summary

Sodexo is seeking an Executive Sous Chef to oversee the Charleston Convention Complex in Charleston, WV. You will lead a small but dynamic culinary operation, guiding menu planning, program execution, and staff development.

You will partner with internal teams and clients to manage the full catering process from concept to seamless execution, while upholding safety, sanitation, and high-quality service for large events and banquets.

Qualifications

• Education: Associate degree or equivalent experience.
• Related experience: 1 year.
• Experience as a Sous Chef or similar role in a high-volume kitchen.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment.

• Oversee menu planning, program execution and staff development.
• Lead kitchen operations and ensure consistent food quality and service.
