Job summary

Northwestern Medicine seeks a Senior Revenue Integrity Analyst to support the Clinical Department and revenue cycle, performing charge capture analysis and maintaining the charge master for compliance and accuracy.

The role collaborates across Revenue Cycle, IT and clinical teams, conducts audits, identifies capture opportunities, and mentors team members to improve efficiency and accuracy while handling confidential financial data.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 10 years of equivalent experience.
• 5+ years in revenue cycle or revenue integrity.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
• Advanced CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 knowledge.
• Extensive Medicare/Medicaid regulations knowledge.
• EPIC Certification (Resolute Charge Capture) preferred.
• RHIA or related healthcare credential preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily maintenance and quarterly audits of the EAP.
• Lead quarterly audits on the charge master data elements.
• Identify charge capture opportunities across departments.
• Research billing and coding regulations and apply changes.
• Mentor Revenue Integrity Team members.
• Collaborate with Revenue Cycle, IT and clinical departments to link EPIC and charge master.
• Maintain confidential financial and patient information.
• Support finance operations and special projects.
