Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Revenue Integrity Chargemaster Analyst to maintain accurate charge capture and ensure billing integrity across the organization.

The role requires a Finance degree with coding credentials within 6 months, CDM experience, and Epic CDM familiarity. You will collaborate with clinical departments to update charges and ensure compliant revenue capture while supporting system-wide improvements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance (Required).
• Coding Credential required within 6 months of employment.
• Coding credential: CPC, COC, CCS, CCA, CCS-P.
• 3 years CDM experience required.
• Epic CDM experience preferred.
• Epic Certification in Charge Capture required within one year.
• Strong analytical and financial skills required.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office: Excel, Word and Power Point.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.
• Knowledge of billing processes used in healthcare organizations.

Responsibilities

• Oversees maintenance of the chargemaster (CDM). Reviews, approves and builds all new charges.
• Updates the CDM annually per AMA CPT guidelines and quarterly per CMS HCPCS guidelines.
• Liaises with clinical departments for CPT/HCPCS updates and code implementation.
• Oversees billing edits including CCI and MUE and collaborates to reduce pre-bill edits.
• Reviews CDM departments regularly and oversees annual price increases and fee schedules.
• Collaborates across organization to identify opportunities and implement improvements.
• Maintains understanding of Medicare/Medicaid and commercial payer billing regulations.
