Weave is seeking an entry-level Chargeback Specialist to join our Payments Risk Management team in a hybrid role based out of Lehi, UT. You will manage disputes, gather evidence, and submit responses while ensuring accuracy and timely communication with merchants.

You will learn card network regulations under senior guidance and help monitor chargeback trends. This role emphasizes organization, attention to detail, and strong communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Professional written and verbal skills to de-escalate situations with merchants.
• Ability to investigate information and formulate effective solutions.
• Desire to learn major card network regulations (Visa, Mastercard, Discover, Amex) and industry practices.

Responsibilities

• Manage a small, guided caseload and provide timely updates to merchants.
• Gather evidence and submit responses using established checklists and workflows.
• Own the timely submission of responses to maximize success rates of disputes.
• Communicate dispute outcomes clearly to merchants to maintain transparency.
• Oversee collection and return of disputed funds with accurate records.
• Assist in proactive monitoring of chargeback volumes to identify fraud trends.
