Job summary

Avis Budget Group in Virginia Beach is seeking a Chargeback Associate to handle internal and external inquiries, chargebacks, and related DMP chargeback functions. You will audit, train, test, and coordinate with an offshore team while maintaining open communication on issues.

The role offers a path to develop expertise in chargeback processes, with daily audits, policy updates, and reporting responsibilities. The position includes a starting hourly rate and bonus opportunities.

Qualifications

• Business administration, finance, or related field; 3–4 years' experience is an advantage.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment with fluctuating volumes.
• Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and sound judgment.

Responsibilities

• Audit chargebacks and improve success rates.
• Work in DMP portal, AMP, Oracle and process AR accounting functions.
• Track productivity and ensure quality of work.
• Assist with team workflow and inquiries.
• Respond to escalated inquiries or chargebacks.
• Provide SME support to other Avis Budget Group regions.
• Help develop new policies and SOPs; keep documentation up to date.
• Compile data for management reports.
• Support offshore team to ensure success.
