Job summary

Norman Regional Health System is seeking a Registered Nurse for Regular Full Time Day shifts in Norman, OK. The RN will perform comprehensive assessments, develop nursing diagnoses and outcomes, coordinate care, and evaluate patient progress using evidence-based practices.

The role requires an Oklahoma RN license and BLS/ACLS training during orientation with ongoing maintenance. Preferred candidates hold BSN or MSN; new grads can join Norman Regional's Nurse Residency Program.

Qualifications

• Diploma or ADN required; BSN or MSN preferred.
• Oklahoma RN license required.
• BLS and ACLS training required during orientation; maintained throughout employment.
• PALS required for Women’s & Children’s; NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and reassessment of health care needs across age groups.
• Nursing diagnosis and outcomes planning in collaboration with patient and family.
• Implementation and coordination of care with evidence-based practice.
• Evaluation of patient outcomes using critical thinking and clinical data.
• Discharge planning aligned with the plan of care and available resources.
