Ardent Health Services in Roswell, NM is seeking a day shift, full-time ICU Charge Registered Nurse to lead nursing care in the unit and ensure smooth patient flow and safety. You will be accountable for patient and staff management in your assigned area.

Requirements include an Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing and CPR, with NM nursing licensure (or NM compact license within 90 days). A Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing is preferred.

Competenze

• Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing required.
• 1 year of Charge Nurse experience in hospital setting or related clinical/management experience.
• CPR certification and NM nursing license (or NM compact license within 90 days of hire).
• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing preferred.

Mansioni

• The Charge RN is responsible and accountable for the practice of Professional Nursing, including the nursing management of the patient and staff of assigned area in his/her charge.
• Manages efficient patient flow, appropriate use of supplies and other operational functions.
• Collaborates with the unit managers and/or directors in developing and revising unit policies, procedures, and protocols.
• Serves as departmental liaison and first line of contact with patients, providers and staff.
• Adheres to policies and procedures and regulations to ensure compliance and patient safety.

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• Minimum: Associate’s Degree or Diploma of Nursing


• One (1) year of Charge Nurse experience in hospital setting OR more than one year of clinical or management experience.


• CPR


• Valid NM Nursing license or NM compact license (within 90 days of hire)

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Desired: Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.


• Certification in clinical specialty


• National Certification in specialty care
